At an exciting time in the University’s development, an opportunity has now arisen for an outstanding individual to join the senior academic leadership team. Reporting directly into the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Edward Peck, the post holder will play a critical role in corporate management of the University and the achievement of NTU’s strategic ambitions.

Consisting of the Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Law School, the School of Social Sciences and the School of Education, this College requires an inspiring yet focused academic leader to achieve consistently excellent learning and teaching, research impact and outcomes, effective external partnerships and outstanding student experience. The Head of the College will establish a high performance culture and lead the delivery of growth plans and future ambitions of the Schools.

These include an expansion of the teaching and research portfolio, increase of student numbers and investment in campus facilities to enhance our teaching, research and commercial provision.

As Pro Vice-Chancellor International, the successful candidate will play a major cross-institutional role in nurturing global citizenship, engaging with the international community, and attracting talented students and staff from around the world.

They will have overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the University’s global strategy and leadership, as well as acting as an ambassador for the University overseas to raise its international profile.
