Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President Academic the new Dean of the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies will be responsible for providing leadership in strategic and program planning to reflect the University’s ambition to advance graduate education, training and research. The Dean will work closely with the VP Research to strengthen Laurier’s research outcomes. A focus of the position is to work with all Faculties on program improvement and curriculum innovation. The Dean will be an advocate for graduate education and research, high academic standards and integrity, enhanced graduate funding, and student success. The successful candidate will have a PhD, or equivalent, in a relevant field along with significant administrative experience and leadership in graduate education, a track record of creativity and innovation and a collaborative and collegial leadership style.
